The first two weeks
Eat softer foods, avoid very hot drinks, and rinse gently with warm salt water if your dentist advises it. Mild swelling and bruising settle within a few days.
Arranging follow-up at home
Your Chinese clinic supplies a treatment summary and X-rays. Give these to your local dentist at a routine check-up, usually 3-6 months after treatment.
When to call your clinic
Contact your treating clinic immediately if you have severe pain, a loose crown, or bleeding that does not stop.
