The hospital

The Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University is a provincial comprehensive Grade 3A hospital founded in 1898, rated in the A+ band of the national tertiary public-hospital performance assessment. It runs five campuses (Shinan, Laoshan, West Coast, Shibei and Pingdu) and holds six national key clinical specialities, including an oral medicine doctoral programme.

Dental care

The Stomatology Centre is a regional dental hub for the Shandong peninsula with five subspecialties: oral medicine, oral implantology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, orthodontics and prosthodontics. Stomatology experts are scheduled across the Shinan, Laoshan and West Coast campuses.

Visiting as a foreign patient

A dedicated International Outpatient department brings together senior experts and subject leaders from across the hospital as a high-level medical service platform for domestic patients, foreign guests and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan compatriots, offering appointments, treatment, telemedicine and overseas medical services. Its expert roster publishes a weekly schedule covering most specialities, including stomatology. Appointments for the International Outpatient clinic are made by telephone with one to seven days' notice, and the hospital also runs a 24-hour hotline on 0532-96166 and WeChat booking. Staff handle foreign guests, but no dedicated English-speaking escort service is advertised, so confirm your language needs when booking.
