The hospital

Beijing Stomatological Hospital, Capital Medical University is one of China's two flagship dental specialty hospitals in Beijing and the base for the Beijing Oral Health Quality Control and Improvement Centre. Its main campus moved wholesale from Tiantan to No. 9 Fanjiacun Road in Fengtai District, with a Wangfujing campus kept for outpatient care.

Dental care

The declared clinical scope covers oral medicine — endodontics, periodontics and oral mucosal disease — oral surgery including alveolar surgery and maxillofacial tumours, prosthodontics, implant dentistry and paediatric dentistry, with comfort-care options such as treatment for children under general anaesthesia and comfortable extraction and scaling. Weekend clinics and evening expert clinics run alongside the weekday service.

Visiting as a foreign patient

Foreign patients are handled through the Health Care Centre and International Medical Department on the 3rd floor of the main campus outpatient building. It describes a clinic of nearly 1,000 square metres with 23 dental chairs and a 21-strong medical team, built around multidisciplinary joint diagnosis and one-stop service. More than 85% of the staff hold senior titles. Book through the hospital's WeChat and Alipay mini-program, the 114 platform, the city mini-program or the on-site self-service machines, and ask about language support when you book.
