The hospital
Beijing Tsinghua Changgung Hospital is Tsinghua University's teaching hospital, built on a single campus in Changping District, northern Beijing, and run to a modern, patient-centred model.
Dental care
The Stomatology Centre opened in 2014 under founding director Professor Xu Jun, and after Professor Zhou Yanheng joined in 2024 a full Stomatology Centre was established around him. The centre covers endodontics, periodontics, oral surgery, prosthodontics, implant dentistry, paediatric dentistry and orthodontics, with a dedicated Orthodontics Department headed by Professor Zhou Yanheng's team.
Visiting as a foreign patient
The hospital runs an International Medical Centre that selects senior, experienced physicians to serve both Chinese and overseas patients. It states that its clinicians can handle at least one foreign language, that expert clinics are staffed by senior-title physicians, and that inpatient wards receive consultations from senior professors, so a specialist opinion is available even for ward-based care. Book through the hospital app, the 114 platform or the city health WeChat account.
Practical notes
The hospital operates a single campus in Changping District, northern Beijing. It publishes an English site and a report-query portal, which is useful for retrieving results after you go home, and the main switchboard is the published contact number.
