The hospital

China-Japan Friendship Hospital is a large tertiary Grade A general hospital in Chaoyang District, Beijing, built with Japanese government assistance and today home to the National Centre for Respiratory Medicine. It runs four locations: the main campus, a north campus, a west campus and the International Department beside the main campus.

Dental care

The Stomatology Centre appears in the hospital's own expert directory as a distinct department with named consultants, and dental care can be arranged through the international route. The centre includes an orthodontics service among its work.

Visiting as a foreign patient

The International Department sits on the east side of the main campus and has its own address and telephone number in the hospital's contact directory, with separate sections for outpatient appointments, insurance cooperation and hospitalisation, plus a dedicated expert directory. The hospital states that clinicians on duty there can handle more than one foreign language, that expert clinics are staffed by senior-title physicians, and that it has been accredited by BUPA and ISO 9001. Book by telephone to the department's dedicated lines, or through the hospital's app, WeChat account and mini-program, and confirm doctor-level language and fee details when you book.
