The hospital
The First Affiliated Hospital of Fujian Medical University is a major Grade 3A teaching hospital in Fuzhou with several campuses. Its Binhai campus in Changle District operates jointly with Huashan Hospital of Fudan University and is branded Huashan Hospital Fudan University Fujian Hospital, part of a national regional medical centre project. The main Chating campus is at No. 20 Chazhong Road in Taijiang District.
Dental care
The Chating campus runs an Oral Medicine Centre, described on its official department page as the largest and most advanced such specialty among Fujian's comprehensive high-level hospitals, with 105 authorised beds, over 20,000 annual outpatient and emergency visits and roughly 2,500 annual inpatient general-anaesthesia procedures. Implant surgery and multidisciplinary oral care are available.
Visiting as a foreign patient
The Binhai campus publishes a patient-guide video series for its International Medical Department covering outpatient consultation, admission and discharge, and the department is aimed at overseas Chinese and international visitors. It is the relevant point of contact for international patients at Binhai, though its own English-language service details are not published. The hospital publishes separate outpatient schedules for Huashan-based and Fujian-based doctors.
