The hospital
The Affiliated Stomatological Hospital of Fujian Medical University, also known as the Fujian Provincial Stomatological Hospital, is the province's dedicated Grade 3A dental hospital and the clinical teaching base of Fujian Medical University's School of Stomatology. The main campus is at No. 246 Yangqiao Middle Road in Gulong District, Fuzhou.
Dental care
The hospital organises dental care into dedicated departments rather than one general clinic: endodontics, periodontics, prosthodontics, orthodontics, implantology (with two implant departments), oral and maxillofacial surgery, paediatric dentistry, oral medicine, preventive dentistry, a dental hygiene and cleaning centre, a comfort and sedation treatment centre, and a multidisciplinary clinic for temporomandibular joint disorders.
Visiting as a foreign patient
The Special Clinic opened in October 2009 on the 6th floor of the main outpatient building, providing integrated endodontic, periodontal, surgical, prosthetic and implant treatment. The hospital also runs the Rende Road Outpatient Department in Taijiang District and a Lianjiang Outpatient Department, and no English-language or dedicated international-patient service is advertised, so it is worth confirming language support directly before booking.
