The hospital
The Affiliated Stomatology Hospital of Guizhou Medical University is a standalone dental hospital with two sites in Guiyang: the main one at No. 9 Beijing Road on the university campus, and a second at Karst City Plaza on the Guanshanhu campus. Nine dentists are named, and all nine sit in oral and maxillofacial surgery — no general dentist among them.
A surgical service
Tang Zhenglong, a Fellow of the International College of Dentists, works on mandibular deviation and prognathism, distraction osteogenesis, alveolar bone augmentation, trauma and TMJ disorders. Wu Yadong, head of oral and maxillofacial surgery, and Sun Kunjun both treat head and neck tumours with reconstruction of soft and hard tissue defects. The other four are listed for micro-invasive extraction and alveolar surgery.
What the listings show
The published equipment is a capacity profile: 127 comprehensive dental chairs across two campuses, six fully independent operating theatres, and seven VIP consultation rooms. One theatre is a Class 100 digital-imaging suite for guided surgery; the other five are Class 10,000. No CBCT, scanner or operating microscope is named, so ask rather than assume. The service list runs broader than the roster: orthodontics, children's dentistry and root canal treatment appear with no clinician attached.
Between two campuses
No telephone number is published, so contact runs through the university or the hospital's website. The campuses sit in different parts of Guiyang: settle which address holds your appointment before travelling.
