The hospital
The Affiliated Stomatology Hospital of Kunming Medical University, which also trades as Yunnan Provincial Stomatology Hospital, is a dental hospital in its own right rather than a department inside a general one. It stands in Wuhua District on Mid-Haiyuan Road. The twelve published clinicians span implantology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, orthodontics, prosthodontics, paediatric and preventive dentistry, oral imaging and endodontics.
Implant work
Five of those twelve list implantology, which makes it the reason most people look here first. The implant department's digital set runs end to end: an intraoral scanner, a CAD-CAM system for chairside all-ceramic crowns, a 3D printer, implant navigation and an implant robot. CBCT is a routine examination in the Oral Imaging Department.
