The hospital
The Second Norman Bethune Hospital of Jilin University occupies the Yatai campus at No. 4026 Yatai Street, Nanguan District, Changchun, and runs a full stomatology department. It publishes a direct appointment line, 0431-81136555, rather than only a switchboard. The department also holds ten inpatient beds, so larger surgical cases are not automatically day cases.
A surgery-led department
The roster is headed by a chief physician working in oral and maxillofacial surgery, with full-arch implants, temporomandibular joint disorders, maxillofacial deformity, oncology and trauma. An honorary department head covers implant restoration including immediate and full-arch overdentures, anterior aesthetics, complete dentures, endodontics, periodontics and orthodontics. Six further dentists are named, several spanning restorative, endodontic and periodontal work in one chair.
Listed equipment
Cone-beam CT, an ultrasonic bone scalpel, a dental laser and a dedicated periodontal unit sit alongside fourteen high-end chairs. Ask about the laser and the bone scalpel if your case involves soft tissue or graft site preparation.

Services run from implants, including full-arch cases, through crowns, bridges, veneers, dentures and root canal treatment to periodontal care, orthodontics, children's dentistry and whitening. Changchun is a long haul from Europe or North America, so fix the appointment on that line before committing to a date.
