The hospital
The Stomatology Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine, also known as Zhejiang Provincial Stomatological Hospital, is a Grade 3A dental specialty hospital and one of the first batch of tertiary-A stomatological hospitals in Zhejiang Province. It is the vice-president unit of the Chinese Stomatological Association and hosts the province's oral healthcare quality-control centre, orthodontic centre and implant technology guidance centre. Stomatology teaching in Zhejiang began here in 1976, and the Huajiachi main campus, the Oral Medical Centre, opened in 2021.
Dental care
Because this is a dedicated dental hospital, every subspecialty is represented: endodontics, periodontics, oral and maxillofacial surgery, prosthodontics, implant dentistry, orthodontics, paediatric dentistry, oral medicine and general dentistry, including geriatric dentistry and multidisciplinary joint clinics. There is also a dental emergency service, a Precision and Digital Dentistry Center, a Comfort-care Center and a Teledentistry Center, supported by oral and maxillofacial radiology, a dental laboratory and pathology. Two of its disciplines are National Key Clinical Specialties.
Visiting as a foreign patient
The hospital runs a full English site with an English doctor directory searchable from A to Z and English profiles for dozens of consultants, which makes it straightforward to find and request a named specialist before you travel. There is no named international patient centre, foreigner clinic or English booking hotline: the English pages route patients through a general appointment link, so expect to register and queue as an ordinary patient, and arrange interpretation for the visit itself.

Internet hospital appointment slots are self-pay only and do not support online medical-insurance settlement.
