The hospital
Zhongshan Hospital is a Grade 3A teaching hospital of Fudan University. It is based at 180 Fenglin Road in Xuhui District, Shanghai, with a further campus at Sheshan in Songjiang District, and it runs an international medical department for overseas patients.
Visiting as a foreign patient
The international medical department is the right first point of contact for foreign and insured patients, and dental implant and maxillofacial care is the work most often arranged through it. Ask the department directly about registering with your passport, how to book, which languages are spoken at your appointment and whether your insurer is billed directly, because these arrangements are confirmed case by case.
